A Rainbow Road - Veterinary Hospice and At Home Euthanasia

 Dr Catching and Dr Silva were so awesome and responsive to my first inquiry. My Golden Retriever moved to palliative care and I didn't know exactly when I would need in home Euthanasia. Their website even has the convenience to text them about it to work that through. This was a godsend because when you are considering your pet to head to the Rainbow Bridge it's so stressful. When it got closer I texted and got a fast answer and worked out a no pressure schedule. Dr Catching came to my home and made the transition so low stress and respectful to my fur baby and family. I highly recommend their services. They are also full time vets at a local practice. 

 I cannot fully express in words how grateful my family is for A Rainbow Road and Dr. Catching. We had to say goodbye to our sweet cat yesterday, far sooner than we imagined. Our hearts are shattered and our home is missing a very important piece. But knowing our girl passed in our arms at home where she knew she was safe and loved has helped. The genuine care, understanding, and support Dr. Catching shared with us throughout the whole process will be cherished forever.  After many desperate calls to provide at home euthanization for my baby girl I finally got ahold of rainbow road and they were able to come out that day (on a Sunday) and help me on one of the worst days of my life. I appreciate their compassion and professionalism on such an awful and dreaded day. My baby is at peace now and was able to pass on in the comfort of her own home. Thank you Rainbow Road ❤️🌼 

 Dr. Silva was absolutely incredible with the passing of our boy George. We had George for 18 years and he was the absolute best. She respected that it was the brother to my two teen boys and was incredibly difficult for all 4 of us to put him down. Patience, kindness, and respect doesn’t cover the amazing instant friend we found in Dr. Silva. So respectfully of our tears, our time and the thousands of goodbyes we had to give our sweet boy. Great communication while we waiting for him to return to us.

Cannot say enough good things regarding her services for one of our hardest days.

 One of the best and happiest experiences of my life is having Yogi, a pug & shih tzu mix handsome & sweetest boy, part of our family for almost 17 years.

And one of the grave sadness and most painful experiences of my life, besides losing both our parents, was saying goodbye to Yogi.

He was the constant love of my life as his mama and I couldn’t have honored him more than having our goodbyes at home, where he was surrounded by our family in person and on FT.

I believe that God had sent Dr. Silva to us that evening to have a very special send off for our beloved Yogi. Dr. Silva was exceptionally caring, empathetic, and respectful in every way. We couldn’t think of anyone else to have shared this part of Yogi’s last journey with us.

Dr. Silva explained everything thoughtfully and thoroughly. She took care of Yogi lovingly and respectfully until the end. Dr. Silva allowed my big family present that evening to have our moment with Yogi and say our goodbyes. We didn’t feel rushed or that it was a transactional service she was providing for our Yogi; instead it was a compassionate and loving way she helped usher Yogi to heaven so he can run wild again.

Dr. Silva also remained in contact with me and sends messages of support for our loss. She really cares about helping families and their fur babies in need. I couldn’t say enough how very passionate Dr. Silva is about what she does.

 A Rainbow Road has been a huge blessing to our family. We are currently utilizing their in-home hospice service and it has greatly helped us as with our senior dog. From checking in on him on a regular basis, to streamlining medications to answering every question we have, they are nothing short of amazing. If you find yourself in a position to need this service, look no further. 

 Erin was absolutely amazing, she was so kind, explained each step, and answered any questions we had. She gave us all the time we needed and it was a huge relief to be able to do this from home, to not worry about anything else and just be there with our dog. 

 I cannot thank Dr. Silva enough for the kindness and empathy she had shown to not only my devastated family but also to my sweet girl. It was on such short notice but Dr. Silva was there and was nothing but warm and understanding. She explained the process to us step by step. It was one of the most painful decisions we had to make, but it was also the best for our baby. It gives me peace knowing her last moments were at home, safe and surrounded by her family. Thank you so much, Dr. Silva for being there for Trixie.

Who would think a paw print would mean so much?

I also love the one you made because I watched you do it & can picture her paw & fur.

Even the lock of hair is meaningful as there is less & less of her golden fibers in the house.

Amazing how attached you can become to an animal.

I hope there really is a Rainbow Bridge or Road where our pets are waiting. 🌈

We still have her ashes in the bag in the house because of the rain. I might decide to keep them in a container/urn in the house after all. It is somehow comforting to have her nearby. ❤️

We can't begin to express how grateful we are that we were able to stay with Sierra as she passed peacefully at home, and how lucky we feel that the universe chose you to help us through the process. Your compassion is truly a superpower.

Thank you, Dr. Leslie Silva, for being here for me on one of the worst days of my life. I had to make the difficult decision to say goodbye to Jasmine, my beautiful baby girl of 18 years. I called A Rainbow Road on a Sunday morning. Dr. Silva was in the middle of vacuuming but dropped what she was doing and came out to my home immediately. She was very gentle, caring and compassionate. She explained the whole process. I’m so thankful my baby girl was able to pass peacefully at home rather than having to endure the stressful experience of a car ride to the veterinary clinic and being around a bunch of people, noises and bright lights. My baby was happy and comfortable in her favorite spot at home. She experienced no stress or pain in her final moments. Dr. Silva gave us as much time as we needed together to say our final goodbyes. She got my baby girl’s paw print in clay and several clippings of her fur after she passed. Dr. Silva was in communication with me during the following days while my baby was being cremated, and she was easily reachable by text when I had questions. Dr. Silva was amazing and I could tell she puts her whole heart into her work. I highly recommend contacting A Rainbow Road for anyone who wants to give their pet the gift of passing peacefully, comfortably and privately at home.
